You and Nam have the same bolt pattern, but you have to worry about the wheels clearing your Brembos

The STi Wheel bilble.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=448097

04 STis and all WRX;s are 5 x 100.

NO stock WRX wheels will fit an STi.

As you can see in the list, they list 17" grid, so it would be likely that 18s would fit.

The best thing to do would be to test fit some. Even Nams, then you can always adjust from there.

Obviously if you adjust only ET you may run into the strut or the fender.

04 STi Wheels are a really a pain to fit IMHO..

Some really open wheels like 17" Rots subzeros will not fit because thay do not say out far enough to clear the Brembos.

I really do not know what you mean.

his car is an 06/07 mechanically the same as an 02-07 for the most part.

They all have our lug pattern but different brakes.

what are you running now...17s?

i think that just about any wheel large enough will fit if you put the right spacers on it, how it will look is another thing tho

i think the general popular offset is about 30ish for a wrx...mine are 48et i believe, i like how they sit and they are pretty much flush with the fenders which have been rolled...if you plan on going to a wide rim you need to roll and possibly pull your fenders so they don't ruin the tires you just bought.

check out wheeldude.com i think you might be able to call them and find out what fits, mkc might also be able to help but i dunno how much tire/wheel fitment work they do regularly, other than that...cruise the nasioc forums and ask people that have an sti with grids what size and offset they run, or test fit with nam's if he is willing

I am pretty sure your brembos can clear these grids.

If you are looking for a set I would definitely call wheeldude.com however I just bought their last set and they are on backorder for a few months.

Are you on coilovers? I would not suggest going aggressive without coilovers. You don't have to go quite as low as me, my first set were 18x9.5 and I was a tad bit higher and it worked just fine.

DEFINITELY get rolled lol your fenders WILL cut into your tires or your tires WILL bend your fenders in ways you wouldnt believe

If you need to test fit some I could probably let you slap em on and see how they clear.

I also talked to your buddy with the hat, seems he is in the market for a subaru let him know about kcsubaru!
