Keep in mind that KC Tint Works now also has a location in Tracy, Mo as well. Owned and operated by the same people who are not F-ing kids. They are doing business with a new place called Truck Toyz.

this one mistake has given them more bad PR some one dose not know how to run a BIZ customers always come first, happy customers mean customers that come back, you would be surprised how far people will drive and how much more money they will spend for good service, it surprises me every day.

I work in a restaurant for a year.

The owner always said "people can have the best experience and tell no one, but a really bad experience, they will tell everyone they know." I think he was right. :)

It's absolutely true. If I go somewhere and am provided with some sort of customer service there's usually three ways for it to go.

1) It goes as expected. I might tell a couple people if I already believe those people might be interested in that sort of thing already.

2) Someone goes above and beyond my expectations. I'm much more likely to tell people about this experience, but again unless people are in the market for this service I'm unlikely to go out of my way to spread the word.

3) Shit service, (see: KC Tint Works). I'll probably spend quite some time bitching about the service I've received to anyone that will listen. Just like this thread was started by GreenMonkey, I'm likely take some time to find people that might be looking for this type of service and make sure they know how I was treated and warn them before they throw away their time or money.

It's ridiculously harder to gain a solid, positive reputation than it is to have a reputation ruined by letting a few opportunities for great customer service go by unnoticed. It takes more effort/money to bring in new customers than it does to keep existing ones, but when you have someone inside your facility it's absolutely stupid to give them such poor customer service that they're almost forced to go somewhere else for service.

Every now and then I read a post in here and think, how sad, this shop jacked up a deal and got a bad rap, then I recall "The Post" and I smile at the fate of this thread and the service it plays..

I drove by the North Oak tint works today,,, I was hoping for a "For Rent? sign. Looks like the sell wheels, if you too are not a fucking kid. :P
