Way to represent man, cars looks real good as always. You should get a rig and taking some rolling shots with it.

It was the first time I could make it to WBM, my wife and I took both subies up and I was invited to park mine in the vendor section with ECS Performance. Honestly, while it was a sight to behold, there really wasn't much to do so it was just a lot of standing around in crappy weather.

I would love to get a rig and do some shots. My brother and I have talked several times about building our own. Trouble is justifying the cost, maybe after he starts getting more requests for shoots.

Usually meets are just that...a lot of standing around and BSing. lol Hey, it keeps everyone out of trouble! The way we do pics with a rig in OKC is we all use a guy named Sun's rig. He's really knowledgeable about photograhy and stuff...plus he has a 1200+ hp 2JZ SC300 on Super Advans. :bounce:

Been trying to find time to install some goodies, time has been tough to find in between doing work on the house.

There is a 05 STI R180 and STI driveshaft somewhere around here too...

Awesome!! First time it's been in print, can't wait for my copy to arrive. Thanks for the heads up.

(it was background car for another shoot a few months ago, but the magazine hasn't come out yet)

Nice, I know what you mean about finding time to install new parts...i've got a lot left sitting around my house I need to install. Plus i'm gonna be in the market for new wheels when I get home.

Well, I found some time yesterday. It took longer than anticipated, but it usually does. Almost all the parts above are on the car, with the exception of the rear diff cover and driveshaft. I screwed up some of the threads on the lower drain hole of the diff cover and need to clean them up, so the OEM cover is on for now. And the STI driveshaft I had lying around seems to have a R160 output on it, so I need to swap flanges on my rear diff until I find a new driveshaft that works. (I'd leave it this way, but my buddy is buying the 3.90 R160 and WRX Auto driveshaft I was running before)

lol As always, the installs are always more complicated than "install it and go play".

My Defi gauges are gonna be fuuunnnn......

Test drive went smooth. Just need to get an alignment now.

Have fun with the gauges. When I did mine I installed all the gauges and ran all the power wires while I was putting break in miles on my motor last year. Then when it was in the shop getting buttoned up and final tuned, they installed all the senders for me since I didn't have time to do it. I recently relocated the controller from the side of the center console to inside the center console, what a PITA. Half of the sender wires were too short and had to be lengthened...

Good luck with your install, if I were closer I'd offer to lend a hand.
