    Window Tint Shops?

Hi. I've used Midwest Tinting in OP,KS, so I requested a quote to tint my '05 WRX sedan. They quoted $219 plus tax. Seems a little high, but I don't know details such as the grade of tint materials, etc..

I had a Chevy Silverado done last Fall, and it was something like $135 (granted, they only tinted 3 windows). Did a nice job.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

PDI did mine a couple months ago. www.pdiclearbra.com. He did mine in around an hour, and it only cost $125. Good quality tint also, and guaranteed. He is located in Lenexa now.

It looks like they use Llumar. Llumar makes some really good film--I'd go with that.

Made an appointment with PDI for Friday morning. Quoted $125.00. Sounds good! Thanks for the feedback, y'all!

I can't beleive no one mentioned that KCTrends does it for like $109.95 for most vehicles and that's with a lifetime warranty.

KC Trends quoted me $175 for the M, $200 if I wanted a front brow. I laughed at him and walked out.

Just had my windows tinted today over at Mid America Tint by James (He's got my name so you know it's good). Let it dry in 3 days and get all the liquid dried up and we'll see what it looks like. I just went 35% all around for the sake of being legal. I've had 2 window tint tickets in less than 6 months apart with my WRX. That resulted in.... ready for it..... Window Tint Diversion. Yes, I'm such a rebel, you know those tags on mattresses that say "Do not remove except by Consumer" well, I ripped em off, All of em.

So yeah, 159.00 all windows. Pics soon. It's a hot S.O.B. out right now.

I know how that goes! I was going to have a $500 fine if I didn't go with diversion.
