Im sure Ill drive past you a few times then. I'll give ya a snickers candy bar.
Im planning on going this year, Shawn (KCScoob Red LGT Wagon) and I are going to go down together.
We are planning on being spectators this year. I really have enjoyed working it but I also want to spend a year going to various stages and watching, like seeing the stage in the park, going to the pit area etc.
We had also discussed helping Aaron if he needs help in the pits since he is driving.
I am going to book 1 room this year, a suite, but may not use it if we decide to go down with Shawn's brother in his camper.
Anyway, so if someone is making a list of attendees, you can add us to the list but we are not going to work it this year.

Folks,
I just wanted to touch base and ask if you've already signed up to review the days you are signed up to work. Also, if you have any specific time requests, i.e. you only want to work in the morning, that you note that in your online sign up form from when you signed up. You can go back and edit the information Randy, Kris and myself can see. Please take some time to review any special requests you might have so when you're standing in the line for checking in, the line won't back up. It's going to be a good rally, and with your volunteering, we'll make it a great rally.
I haven't signed up yet. My attendance is contingent on whether or not my build is running and broken in by that time or not. I've got HAM radios and I'm game for both days where ever I could be useful assuming everything works out.

Thought I'd better chime in to say hi and we hope to get a good group from KC again this year. Ham operators always really need too. I hear Jeff isn't coming this year![]()
Consider me in, I'm going to sign up now.
rx555, do you know what band of radios they use?

Great, I can use my existing setup then.
As for the FRS (I'm assuming you mean consumer 2-way radios? "Family Radio Service" at 462.xx Mhz -467.xx Mhz?), I don't have any of them however I can pick up those bands on my HT. Unfortunately, I can't transmit on them however. I'll buy a set and bring them along if they aren't too expensive.
