Those of us that are rooted/jailbroke/rom'd post up what you are using and where you get it and what phone it is on.

Then root it.

I had a HTC Aria on AT&T that I had rooted.

When the Nexus S 4g first came out, it had wireless tethering. It was locked down when 2.3.5 came out.
