    Old Cars Have Their Advantages

So I bought a 2000 Forester L two weeks ago and it came with a tape deck! It was a single DIN unit, and thanks to lots of stereo stuff I learned through Subaru Forums, I knew that Installing an aftermarket or newer Subaru Stereo would be relatively easy.

So I bought a Sony Single Din with bluetooth, USB, Aux, for $120 at Best Buy, and the conversion cable, and then even soldered the wires instead of just twisting them, and viola! I can shift and talk on my phone again.

Also, I will mention that I tried to help a local shop out, Extreme Audio on Wornall, and he only had last years model stereo for $160, so a $40 markup on Best Buy, I even tried to just buy the cable adapter for a reasonable $15, but he doesn't take credit for orders under $25. So after that I gladly went to Best Buy and let them take my money.
