Anyone driven their WRX/STI at the speedway?

NASA is having a track day at Kansas Speedway in September, and I'm planning on going with my '13 WRX, but wondering how concerned I should be about potential oil starvation issues on the banking? I'm under the impression that the EJ's have a bit of a reputation for starvation issues.

I'm doing some google-research right now, but figured I'd ask here too, since maybe someone already has some experience with their car at the speedway? I don't have an oil accumulator (like an accusump) installed right now, but thinking about installing one at some point in the future if I track the car more.

Yes but mine was a relief for Joplin tornado fund. We never went over 90 mph unfortunately. Did 5 laps still fun though

if you dont go over 90-100 you wont have a problem

Kilby33, awesome pictures, I'll have to remember to take some of my car from the winners circle area, too.

page2334, I'm not entirely sure what speeds to expect, especially on the one big, banked corner (I'm sure the track day will use the road course setup), but I've got to imagine 100 or more isn't unreasonable.

is it a real track day or a fast speed pace lap like they had yesterday, no passing just stay inline behind a pace car?

I went yesterday with no issue doing 80ish around the track.

The NASA event in September will be a real track day, although I'll probably be running in one of the HPDE groups since I don't have a NASA license for any of the "real" races. So, basically, drive as fast as you can, but no passing except in designated straights with a wave-by.
