alright ya'll i need some help... let me start off by telling you i own a 2002 wrx

i was replacing my clock the other day (which has been broken since i bought the car in early 2008) and i noticed a few things unplugged, some extra wires and the old sub hook up wires. so i decided to remove the sub wires and check out the unplugged wires. well as i started to follow the sub wires back i found a couple more things unplugged. so i plugged them in. thats it.

now my check engine light is blinking and there are 6 code readings; 02 sensor malfunction, speed something malfunction, 2 codes werent able to be read, 02 low voltage, and 02 high voltage. i think it might be the alternator, but not sure. tell me if you think you might know. thanks.

Are these plugs you found under the dash? Probably green? If so unplug them. There are plugs that are only used when accessing and flashing new maps to the ecu.

you plugged in the plugs used for when you log or tune your car. unplug them take the neg off your battery let your ecu die of power and problem solved. the empty plugs are for different accessories for the car that yours doesn't have.

umm... yeah, i think there was a blue one along the trim on my driver side, and one underneath the rear seat? i might be mistaken about the rear seat one tho...

yes as stated before sounds like you put your car in test mode. Turn car off unplug them and then try restarting car should go back to normal

Most of us only know about the green test wires because we've been there, done that.

I know I'm guilty. :P

Which is as bad as the valet switch in the trunk release that stops the lever inside the car from working. I've made that mistake.
