Well I have been playin with my bumper the past couple of weeks and have gotten to spot to where I could test fit it. It fits fine with no problems other than the fact it is far from done and looks a bit rough. I'm not so sure I'm feeling the way it looks. I don't know if it's because it's far from done or because part of me feels it looks ricey. It's functional. The front vents flow to the side vents fine. Maybe the side vents aren't the right shape? I'm just looking for some feedback. I want to make it work but a small part of me says to kill it with fire.

I like it. Maybe with all the round edges on bugeyes you might round off that inside corner some more? (The vertical edge, inside towards the center of the car). Just a thought, maybe when it's all painted it won't stand out so strongly.

I like it. Keep going on it. I don't think it's ricey I think it's got clean lines. When it's done if you don't like it I'm sure someone will buy it.

I like it, it begs for a lip now though. I think a nice prodrive rep or something similar would look really good.

^ I thought the same thing about a lip. The prodrive rep would be the one. Even maybe molded to the bumper.

I like the way it is looking.

My first thought is, it needs to be overall lower. (i.e. Lip) There is too much going on around the ends of the bumper that it looks awkward with the shorter medial opening. I would suggest a bigger lip than the prodrive unless you do the prodrive/sti limited lip combo. Basically it just needs some "closure" at the bottom.

Red: See if you can trim this out, i believe that will help greatly with the looks to open up the middle to match the vent (existing fog light hole) size.

Green: I know you aren't ready for paint but be sure to pain these black, or atleast the vertical post because it will ruin the looks.

Cyan: I almost feel there needs to be something here. I cant quite say what but maybe a small light housing, another vent or opening, or something. Or maybe it will look better with paint, im not sure.

^I thought the same thing with the middle opening.

Needs to follow the flow of the bumper a bit better IMO. from the side, looking at the center opening rounds out and backwards a bit. The opening of the side vents is straight up and down and I think it would look better if it angled back towards the car towards the bottom.

Thanks everyone. The more I stare at it the more I don't like it. I could try and work with it but I feel that it will just frustrate me even more. I'm not giving up on the project entirely. I feel if I try to correct this one it will not come out right and I would have wasted that much more time. I need a bumper with the original size fog holes. I was planning on attaching a grill to prevent shit from getting up in the vent and with this bumper I have not seen a way how to do so. As of now I'm needing a new canvas.

^Fuck that^

I'm goin to try and salvage this thing!

VF34RX- I like the idea of cutting out the front more but then it would expose the bumper beam and I wouldn't be able to use the grill I bought off of you. I plan on painting that area black like it should be.

Scooby24- My original idea was to angle the side vents forward but decided not to for some reason. I shall be doing that soon.

The only problem as of right now is that I would love to place a grill over the bigger holes but am not coming up with any ideas.
