So i need to get some winter tires. I want to get them from bestusedtires.com

Since they are cheap. But most of the time the have pairs of tires, and not complete sets. So can i get two different brands? Like one for the front set and one for the back set? Will it cause any problems? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

the only way it wont cause problems is if the tires are the exact same diameter. Im not talking about what it says on the side of the tire either. Offset sizes will eventually cause differential failure.

Troof,

I think 2 pairs of the same make and model with similar wear would be OK, but two different brands would worry me.

not supposed to be any more than 1/4 inch diff in circumference between all four tires otherwise wil cause diff failure

You'll be completely fine. As long as the 2XX/XX is the same between brands, you'll be good..don't fret. The previous owner of my car ran my car like that during winter and I've got no issues.
