Hey, I have already opened up my headlights to clear them, however I didn't change the corner light at the time! when I put them back together I used a little bit of silicone around the edges and form what I hear from people I cannot re-open them with that silicone on there???? Anyone have any thoughts or ideas??? THANKS!

( I really want those corners clear, and I have the bulbs already too!)

what kind of silicone. Im sure you'll be ok if you just warm it up enough to pull apart.

Just an idea; get some Legos (or other plastic pieces) and use the same silicone to glue them together. Then start experimenting with temp/time combos.

Good luck, silicone is pretty stable stuff once it cures.

It depends on what kind of silicone you used- if it was like RV silicone or anything other then "regular" silicone you'll have a more difficult time getting it apart. You should be able to still do it, its just going to be a more time consuming project then it was the first time.

Are you an 04/05, 06/07, or 08/09?
