View Full Version : Reputable Tint shop besides the Vendors Here

I apologize if this post is in the wrong section. I'm new to the area and I want to get my windows tinted. Besides midwest tinting, do you guys have any other recommended shops that do good tinting for an affordable price?

Call John Wagner at KC Tint.
He has done 2 cars for me and he is by far the best out of all tint shops I have tried. He comes to your house too and is usually about 1/2 price of Midwest.

PDI did my M3 and my mom just had her LGT done there last weekend. Great work, awesome tint, and excellent price. www.pdiclearbra.com

Thanks for the recommendation guys. PDI looks pretty promising, going to call them soon; I already have an appointment set up for Midwest Tinting on Monday, but I might have to cancel it now.

Plus one for PDI. He's done 3 of my cars and did a great job

Yep, I agree with the others. John's the guy.

PDI did the work on my WRX. A guy I work with, that used to own Extreme Window Tinting, did my Z. If you want I can get you his info.

If you're in Kansas City North, TintMasters has the best reputation in the area.

But he puts this sticker inside the tint on the back quarter windows. Not a big deal for some, but deal breaker for me as I am not paying a couple hundred to have advertisements slapped on my car. He did my wife's car and did a good job, but for the subie, I will go elsewhere.

I have a little less respect for him and his tint quality after I had a car done. The install was not the greatest, bubbles in a couple spots and after I sold the car, I saw it a year later and the tint was purpled. Also took a picture of a car at a previous job that had a tintmaster sticker and it was also purple.

came here to say what the two posts above me have already said better.
